El Concejo Municipal de Tarija ha aprobado la ley de Conservaci\u00f3n, Preservaci\u00f3n y Protecci\u00f3n del cangrejo y otras especies nativas del R\u00edo San Jacinto Norte, pertenecientes a la cuenca hidrogr\u00e1fica Tolomosa. Esta medida busca resguardar la integridad de especies emblem\u00e1ticas para el turismo y la gastronom\u00eda en Tarija.<\/p>

Marcela Guerrero, concejal municipal, destac\u00f3 que esta ley surge como respuesta urgente ante la alarmante mortandad de cangrejos ocurrida el pasado 19 de septiembre en la zona. El proyecto tiene como objetivo fundamental cuidar y proteger las especies nativas presentes en la cuenca hidrogr\u00e1fica de Tolomosa, como ser cangrejos, mojarritas, misquinchos, doraditos, carapa y otros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esta ley traza una serie de acciones y pol\u00edticas destinadas a fomentar la repoblaci\u00f3n de estas especies con el fin de contrarrestar el da\u00f1o ambiental sufrido en la regi\u00f3n. Asimismo, se prev\u00e9 realizar una auditor\u00eda ambiental exhaustiva para evaluar el estado del afluente, determinar la presencia de posibles niveles de contaminaci\u00f3n y verificar si las especies nativas se encuentran en riesgo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En caso de ser necesario, se contemplar\u00e1 la implementaci\u00f3n de una pausa ambiental para proteger y preservar el ecosistema en su totalidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
