El Gobernador de Tarija, Oscar Montes Barz\u00f3n, se pronunci\u00f3 sobre el estado actual del Estadio IV Centenario, habilitado para partidos internacionales en la Copa Sudamericana de F\u00fatbol.
Ante las preguntas sobre las condiciones estructurales del estadio, Montes indic\u00f3 que se realizaron revisiones preliminares, pero a\u00fan no se cuenta con un diagn\u00f3stico final sobre las zapatas que sostienen la bandeja superior del recinto.
\u00abNo queremos correr ning\u00fan riesgo\u00bb, afirm\u00f3 al se\u00f1alar que, si bien el estadio tiene capacidad para albergar a casi 20.000 personas en la parte inferior, a\u00fan no se ha determinado la disponibilidad de la bandeja superior para su uso.
\u00abPara ir a verificar las zapatas, hay que romper todo el piso\u00bb, explic\u00f3 Montes, destacando la complejidad de realizar inspecciones profundas que requieren da\u00f1ar la infraestructura existente. Sin embargo, subray\u00f3 que hasta el momento no se han encontrado problemas estructurales graves, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de un deterioro normal debido a la erosi\u00f3n por el agua.
Sobre las zapatas, el gobernador mencion\u00f3 que, aunque es poco probable que hayan sido subdimensionadas, es necesario verificarlas para descartar cualquier riesgo potencial. \u00abEs normal encontrar muchas obras en Tarija que tienen zapatas y columnas en exceso\u00bb, agreg\u00f3, comparando la situaci\u00f3n con \u201cel puente millonario\u201d y otras obras en la regi\u00f3n.
\u201c\u2026Si han hecho semejantes columnas para construir un edificio f\u00e1cil de 30, 40 pisos, no creo que ah\u00ed abajo en las zapatas, hayan hecho unas zapatas chiquititas, pero eso hay que verificarlo\u201d, insisti\u00f3.
