El Gobierno nacional gestiona el pronto arribo de una aeronave vers\u00e1til, con capacidad de descarga de 11.000 litros de agua, que ayudar\u00e1 a luchar contra los incendios en Santa Cruz, inform\u00f3 este mi\u00e9rcoles el ministro de Defensa, Edmundo Novillo.<\/p>

\u201cUna de las primeras opciones que hemos visto es un avi\u00f3n que nos va a permitir descargar una capacidad de 11.000 litros de agua. Es de una empresa con la que tenemos acuerdos establecidos y estar\u00eda en nuestro pa\u00eds en los pr\u00f3ximos d\u00edas\u201d, inform\u00f3 la autoridad en entrevista con Red Uno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Explic\u00f3 que, adem\u00e1s del continuo trabajo de bomberos en tierra y del apoyo internacional, se extremar\u00e1 el combate desde el aire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asimismo, descart\u00f3 la presencia de \u201cSuperTanker\u201d porque esta aeronave ten\u00eda contratos en Australia y estar\u00e1 reci\u00e9n disponible para octubre, y ante la emergencia que vive el pa\u00eds se deben agilizar las gestiones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLa disponibilidad (del SuperTanker) no es inmediata (\u2026). Fue trasladado hacia Australia y tiene mantenimiento, tiene que prepararse y no puede ser antes del 2 de octubre\u201d, explic\u00f3 Novillo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
