En el territorio boliviano, la inmunizaci\u00f3n contra el sarampi\u00f3n priorizaba a los ni\u00f1os de 1 a 5 a\u00f1os, debido que es el grupo m\u00e1s vulnerable a las complicaciones del sarampi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La vacuna SRP est\u00e1 especialmente dise\u00f1ada para proteger en esta etapa cr\u00edtica de desarrollo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El sarampi\u00f3n es una enfermedad viral que se transmite por got\u00edculas (peque\u00f1as gotas de saliva) al momento de hablar, toser o estornudar; es altamente contagiosa ya que el virus puede mantenerse hasta por dos horas en el aire o en superficies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La ministra inst\u00f3 una vez m\u00e1s a los padres de familia a llevar a sus ni\u00f1os, que no cuentan con la vacuna SRP o les falta una dosis, a los centros de salud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Remarc\u00f3 que los ni\u00f1os que cuentan con las dos dosis no necesitan ning\u00fan refuerzo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Salud recomend\u00f3 a los padres, cuando acudan a los vacunatorios, presentar la c\u00e9dula de identidad, la libreta de vacunaci\u00f3n y que el ni\u00f1o o ni\u00f1a no posea temperatura elevada (38 grados).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
